Inclusion Criteria
? Age more than 65 years
? American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) classification I, II, III
? Patients undergoing elective lower limb orthopaedic surgeries.
Exclusion Criteria
1 Patients who refuse consent/lack the capacity to give consent
2 Patients with extremity amputation, paraplegia, or known neuromuscular diseases.
3 Patients undergoing emergency procedures

Name Time Method oDetermine the proportion of frailty in elderly patients undergoing lower limb orthopaedic surgery using the Clinical Frailty Scale.Timepoint: PAC visit till date of discharge
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method oTo correlate quadriceps muscle sarcopenia as assessed by point-of-care Ultrasonography with the Clinical Frailty Scale. <br/ ><br>oCompare the post-operative outcomes between frail and non-frail patients with regards to the post-operative complications, length of hospital stay and mortality. <br/ ><br> <br/ ><br>Timepoint: PAC visit till date of discharge
