Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Interviews with patients:
- •\- Advanced chronic heart failure
- •\- Experience with thirst in the context of the disease
- •\- At least T\-listing due to advanced chronic heart failure
- •\- \= 18 years
- •\- Hospital stay
- •\- Signed informed consent (provided by legal guardian, if applicable)
- •\-Sufficient knowledge of German
- •Focus groups with nursing professionals
- •\- Nursing professionals with completed three years of nursing training or have a university degree
Exclusion Criteria
- •Interviews with patients:
- •\- Implanted (L\-) VAD system
- •\- Disorientation to one of the four qualities (place, time, person, situation)
- •Focus groups with nurses
- •\- Trainees
- •\- Nursing assistants/ nursing aides
