1) Patients who agree to participate in the study by signing the informed consent.
2) Age >= 18 years irrespective of gender
3) Mandibular molars with grade II furcation defects (Hamp et all 1975) Non-exposed furcation lesion- Class II (Pilloni et al 2018)
4) Vertical clinical attachment loss of >= 4mm after initial therapy
5) Full mouth plaque index score <1 and full mouth modified sulcular bleeding index score
<20%.
6) Adequate gingival biotype of >= 1mm
1) Patients with systemically compromised health and contraindicated for periodontal surgery.
2) Periodontal surgical treatment during the previous 24 months in the involved site.
3) Pregnant or lactating mothers.
4) Patients with tobacco consumption habit of any type
5) Third molars with furcation involvement
6) Restorations and superficial caries in the area to be treated.
7) Immunocompromised individuals
8) Patients undergoing orthodontic involvement
