1.Term pregnancy (>=37 weeks) planned for caesarean section under subarachnoid block
2.Age >18 years
3.ASA physical status I or II [29]
4.Weight >50 kg or <90 kg
5.Height >150cm or <170 cm
6.Singleton pregnancy
1.Pre-eclampsia
2.Haemoglobin < 8g/dL
3.Resting heart rate > 120/min
4.History of cardiovascular diseases ( hypertension, arrhythmia, ischaemic and valvular heart disease, cardiomyopathy)
5. History of cerebrovascular disease
6.Renal impairment (Sr. Creatinine > 1.2mg/dL)
7.Allergy to local anaesthetic agents or opioids
8.Thrombocytopenia (Platelet count < 1 lakh) and increased INR (INR >1.5)
9. Previously known foetal abnormality (syndromic issues, small for gestational age)
10. Refuse to give consent
