Inclusion Criteria

Participation in the Holistic Approach to Pregnancy and the first Postpartum Year (HAPPY) study and the HAPPY-follow study. The HAPPY-(follow) study is a large cohort study that assessed women during their pregnancy up until 3.5 years postpartum.

-At the time of inclusion of the current study, children of participants are at the toddler age.

Exclusion Criteria

Participants met the HAPPY(-follow) study criteria. Exclusion criteria were:

The primary outcome measure is levels of parental stress measured using the Dutch scale: the Parenting Questionnaire (OBVL, in Dutch: Opvoedingsbelastingvragenlijst).
Secondary Outcome Measures

- Mindful parenting measured with the Interpersonal Mindfulness in Parenting Scale (IM-P).<br /><br>- Parental reactivity, assessed using the Overreactivity subscale of the Parenting Scale (PS).<br /><br>- Personal goals set by each participant individually, measured with Goal Attainment Scaling (GAS).<br /><br>- Levels of self-compassion assessed using the 3-item version of the Self-Compassion Scale (SCS-3).<br /><br>- Symptoms of depression and anxiety, measured using the Patient Health Questionnaire-4 (PHQ-4).<br /><br>- Problem child behavior is assessed using two subscales of the Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL): Aggressive Behavior and Emotionally Reactive. Next to the participating women, their partners also fill in these subscales of the CBCL.<br>-The feasibility and acceptability of the training is also assessed.
