Children at ages 4,8,12 and 18 months of age whose mothers have HIV-positive diagnosis, inserted in a program of monitoring of children born to HIV positive mothers in a reference service (SENIC), absence of associated diseases and signing the Informed Consent Form (ICF) by parents or guardians. For the control group (CG), are born at term, matched in age, gender and socioeconomic status to (EG).
Children born to seropositive mothers presenting malformation, genetic syndromes, congenital abnormalities, postural deformities or other changes that may bring harm to the socio-cognitive and psychomotor development of children, or that parents do not sign the consent form, or even by any reason not to complete the assessment protocol.
