Inclusion Criteria

Written informed consent prior to the start of the study.
- Primary diagnosis of social anxiety disorder

Exclusion Criteria

- No ownership of a smartphone or unable to use an app
- Acute suicidality
- Active substance abuse or addiction
- Severe medical condition (e.g., chronic cardiovascular disease or acute cancer)
- Severe depression
- Psychotic disorder
- Bipolar disorder
- Borderline personality disorder
- Current treatment by a psychotherapist
- Current psychopharmacological treatment
- Insufficient knowledge of the German language
