Inclusion Criteria

All women visiting obstetrics and gynecology OPD in AIIMS Bibinaga with heavy menstrual bleeding without a structural cause.

Exclusion Criteria

1)Samples displaying evidence of hyperplasia or atypia on microscopic evaluation.

2)Samples with tissue that are inadequate for further immunohistochemical evaluation

3)Patients with pelvic inflammatory disease or any other conditions affecting the immunity like autoimmune diseases.

4)Patients on immune modifying drugs.

To compare the alterations in the number of uterine natural killer cells, T cells and macrophages in the endometrial biopsy specimens of women with normal menstrual cycles and those with heavy menstrual bleeding.Timepoint: At the time of Endometrial biopsy.
