Study Overview

Brief Summary

  1. The Participants will be selected based on the eligibility criteria. 2. Informed consent will be obtained from the participants and demographic data will be recorded. 3. The participants will be explained about the procedure and will be ensured that no harm will be caused to them. 4. Participants will be randomly allocated to 2 groups that is experimental group (n=21) and control group (n=21). 5. Prior assessment of the participants will be done i.e pre-test. 6. Experimental group will be administered with neuromuscular warm-up training program along with conventional physiotherapy on basketball players. 7. And control group will be administered with conventional treatment on basketball players. 8. The participants will be given neuromuscular warm-up exercise training and administered to perform for 15-20 mins per day for 3 days in a week for 4 weeks. 9. Before and after training period balance was assessed by Y-balance test and agility was assessed by T-test in both the groups. 10. The results of the two groups will be compared and effectiveness of the therapy in the groups will be noted.

Inclusion Criteria

  • Students within the age group of 18 to 30 years.
  • Gender: Both Male and Female.
  • Players qualifying PAR-Q
  • Players who are willing to participate.
  • Amateur basketball players.

Exclusion Criteria

  • Any recent injuries.
  • Any type of acute systemic illness
  • Players on any medication.
  • Any psychological issues.

Outcomes

Primary Outcomes

Agility : T-test

Time Frame: Week 0 and Week 4

Balance : Y balance test

Time Frame: Week 0 and Week 4

Secondary Outcomes

  • Age, Basketball Players(Week 0 and Week 4)
