Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Adult patients admitted within 24 hours of onset of symptoms of acute ischemic stroke.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Hemorrhagic stroke.
- •Cardioembolic stroke ââ?¬â?? as evidenced by prior history of valvular or ischemic heart disease, or cardia arrhythmias,cardiac surgery.
- •Echocardiogram at admission revealing valvular heart disease, atrial thrombus, regional wall motion abnormality or ejection fraction less than 50%
