- •Patients aged above 18 years who underwent kidney transplantation more than 3 months prior with functioning renal allograft at the time of randomization.
排除标准
- •Patients who had previous rabies vaccination, intravenous immunoglobulin within 3 months, acute febrile illness within 1 week, detectable cytomegalovirus (CMV) viremia, CMV disease or contraindications for ID or IM injections were excluded

Simplifying the Rabies Pre-exposure VaccinatioRabies is a viral infection that affects the central nervous system. It causes encephalitis which is almost invariably fatal. Preventive vaccination alone implies no complete protection, but simplifies the post-exposure procedure considerably, as the immunological response comes much more rapid in case of a booster vaccination post-exposure.
