Proportion of patients with insufficient and deficient vitamin D were significantly higher in the pandemic group (46.1% vs 63.09%). Time to surgery and length of hospital stay were significantly longer in the pandemic period. The mortality was higher but not significantly different in the pandemic period with adjusted hazard ratio of 1.06 (95% CI 0.74, 1.51).
