Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • With a diagnosis of sepsis acute change in total SOFA score \>\=2 points consequent to the infection according to Sepsis 3 definition and
  • septic shock\- defined as sepsis with persisting hypotension requiring vasopressors to maintain a MAP \>\= 65 mmHg and having a serum lactate level \> 2 mmol/L despite adequate volume resuscitation.

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1 New Onset ACS within 1 Week
  • 2Diagnosed heart failure, severe valvular heart disease such as severe mitral or aortic stenosis or tricuspid stenosis or regurgitation/prosthetic heart valves
  • 3Chronic pulmonary disease requiring long\-term oxygen therapy, Known case of moderate to severe Pulmonary hypertension/ corpulmonale
  • 5 inadequate echocardiographic window
