The Global Pharmaceutical Water Market is projected to grow from US$ 38.6 billion in 2023 to US$ 93.9 billion by 2033, at a CAGR of 9.3%. Growth is driven by demand for high-quality water in drug production, strict regulations, and innovations in water purification technologies. North America leads the market, while Asia Pacific is expected to see the highest growth rate.

Commercially available reagents and solvents were used to synthesize PCN-250-Fe₂M, NH₂-MIL-101(Fe), HKUST-1, NH₂-UIO-66(Zr), NH₂-MIL-125(Ti), and ILs@PCN-250-Fe₂M via solvothermal methods. Characterization included FT-IR, PXRD, N₂ adsorption–desorption, SEM, TEM, UV–vis, TGA, PL, XPS, EIS, Mott-Schottky, and photocurrent–time profiles. Photocatalytic CO₂ reduction experiments were conducted, and scaled-up experiments were performed under sunlight. AQE for CO evolution was measured, and DFT calculations were used to determine reaction mechanisms.

The Port of Stockton approved a fossil fuel-based hydrogen plant despite climate advocates' concerns, aiming to address immediate needs for zero-emissions trucks. The plant, set to produce hydrogen from methane, will reduce local emissions but faces criticism for its carbon intensity. The project highlights the complexities of transitioning to a clean hydrogen economy, balancing immediate needs with long-term environmental goals.
