Background

A specific blocker of dopamine receptors. It speeds gastrointestinal peristalsis, causes prolactin release, and is used as antiemetic and tool in the study of dopaminergic mechanisms.

Indication

For management of dyspepsia, heartburn, epigastric pain, nausea, and vomiting.
