Florida Dr. Elaine Sharp: FDLE says she gave drugs to street dealers

Dr. Elaine Sharp, a Gulf Breeze OB/GYN, was arrested on felony charges including two counts of murder related to opioid overprescribing. She faces additional charges for allegedly running a pill mill scheme, leading to thousands of opioids being sold on the streets. At least 11 co-conspirators were arrested, and evidence shows Sharp prescribed over 400,000 oxycodone pills to co-conspirators since 2020. Sharp allegedly laundered profits from the scheme into her personal bank account.
