CellCept is a medicine used in adults and children from 1 year of age to prevent the body from rejecting a newly transplanted kidney, heart or liver. It is used together with ciclosporin and corticosteroids (other medicines to prevent the rejection of a transplanted organ). CellCept contains the active substance mycophenolate mofetil.
Therapeutic Indication
CellCept is indicated in combination with ciclosporin and corticosteroids for the prophylaxis of acute transplant rejection in adult and paediatric (1 to 18 years of age) patients receiving allogeneic renal, cardiac or hepatic transplants.
