<p>Ecalta is used to treat patients from one month of age with invasive candidiasis (a fungal infection caused by a yeast called <em>Candida</em>). ‘Invasive’ means that the fungus has spread into the bloodstream.</p><p>Ecalta contains the active substance anidulafungin.</p>
