<p>mResvia is a vaccine for protecting against lower respiratory tract disease (diseases of the lungs such as bronchitis and pneumonia) caused by respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) in adults aged 60 years and older. It is also used in adults aged 18 to 59 years who are at increased risk for lower respiratory tract disease caused by RSV.</p><p>mResvia contains a molecule called messenger RNA (mRNA) with instructions for producing an RSV protein called membrane-anchored RSV-A glycoprotein F.</p>

<div class="subsection mt-3-5"> <h3>Therapeutic indication</h3><p>Prevention of lower respiratory tract disease (LRTD) and acute respiratory disease (ARD) caused by respiratory syncytial virus (RSV).</p><p>mRESVIA is indicated for active immunisation for the prevention of lower respiratory tract disease (LRTD) caused by Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) in: - adults 60 years of age and older - adults 18 through 59 years of age who are at increased risk for LRTD caused by RSV. </p><p>The use of this vaccine should be in accordance with official recommendations.</p></div>
