### Therapeutic indication Treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis in patients at risk of vitamin-D insufficiency. Vantavo reduces the risk of vertebral and hip fractures. Treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis in patients who are not receiving vitamin-D supplementation and are at risk of vitamin-D insufficiency. Vantavo reduces the risk of vertebral and hip fractures.
