Columvi

<p>Columvi is a cancer medicine used to treat adults with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), a cancer affecting B cells (a type of white blood cell). Columvi is used in patients whose cancer has returned (relapsed) or stopped responding (refractory) after at least two previous treatments.</p><p>In adults with a type of DLBCL called DLBCL NOS (not otherwise specified), it can be used in combination with two other cancer medicines, gemcitabine and oxaliplatin, when the disease is relapsed or refractory and patients cannot have an autologous stem cell transplant (a transplant of the patient’s own blood-producing cells).</p><p>DLBCL is rare, and Columvi was designated an ‘orphan medicine’ (a medicine used in rare diseases) on 15 October 2021.
