Rezzayo is an antifungal medicine used to treat adults with invasive candidiasis. Invasive candidiasis is a fungal infection caused by a yeast called Candida that has spread widely in the body and may also be present in the blood. Invasive candidiasis is rare, and Rezzayo was designated an ‘orphan medicine’ (a medicine used in rare diseases) on 6 January 2021\. Rezzayo contains the active substance rezafungin.
