- <p><strong>POSOLOGY AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION</strong></p>
<p>One pressure delivers approximately 10 mg of lidocaine.</p>
<p>The atomizer nozzle should be placed at about 2 to 4 cm from the area to be anesthetized.</p>
<p>Spray droplets of solution so as to cover an area of about 1 centimeter in diameter.</p>
<p>The application of one dose may be repeated onto 4 or 5 different areas of the oral mucosa during the same session.</p>
<p>In order to limit the nauseous reflex, pulverize one or several doses of solution towards the palate.</p>
<p>Do not exceed 20 pulverizations per session.</p>
<p><em><u>Paediatric population</u></em></p>
<p>XYLONOR is contraindicated for the children under 6 years of age, for the spray use, due to the risk of choking.</p>
<p><em><u>Elderly patients or patients with hepatic function disorders</u></em></p>
<p>When liver activity is reduced, the lowest dose leading to efficient anaesthesia shall be used when applied before anaesthetic injection.</p>
<p><strong>Method and route of administration</strong></p>
<p><strong>Local use only. Buccal use.</strong></p>
<p>Before using the atomizer, adjust the diffuser nozzle to the pump, then press vertically two or three times to prime the pump.</p>
<p>The solution should be applied to a previously dried mucous membrane.</p>
<p>The lowest dose leading to effective anaesthesia should be used.</p>
<p>Saliva aspiration and isolation with a dental cotton roll of the site treated with the local anaesthetic is required.</p>

- <p><strong>THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><p>This medicinal product is indicated for topical anaesthesia in adults, adolescents and children in the buccal cavity, before the following dental procedures:</p>
<ul class="dash">
<li><p>infiltration anaesthesia,</p></li>
<li><p>fitting and adjusting of crowns and bridges abutment,</p></li>
<li><p>juxta-gingival and sub-gingival scaling.</p></li>
</ul>

<li><p>Prevention of gagging during impression taking.</p></li>
</ul>
<p>This medicine is indicated for the adults and the children and the teenagers aged from 6 to 18 years old.</p>
- Contraindications
- <p><strong>CONTRAINDICATIONS</strong></p>
<p>This medicine should not be used in the following cases:</p>
<ul class="dash">
<li>Children (age below 6 years old), because of a risk of choking. hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients, particularly to lidocaine (local anaesthesic) or to cetrimide (antiseptic).</li>
<li>hypersensitivity to any local anaesthetics.</li>
