Desonide (Desowen) Cream 0.05% or Lotion 0.05% should be applied to the affected areas as a thin film two or three times daily depending on the severity of the condition.<br>
Occlusive dressings may be used for the management of psoriasis or recalcitrant conditions or as prescribed by a physician. If an infection develops, the use of occlusive dressings should be discontinued and appropriate antimicrobial therapy instituted.</p>

Desonide (Desowen) Cream 0.05% and Lotion 0.05% are indicated for the relief of the inflammatory and pruritic manifestation of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses.</p>
- Contraindications

Topical corticosteroids are contraindicated in those patients with a history of hypersensitivity to any components of the preparations.</p>
