CoviGlobulin, a rabbit polyclonal antibody, was specifically designed as a potential therapy for COVID-19. Rabbit polyclonal antibodies are derived from the rabbit, a common animal host for polyclonal production. The antibodies themselves are produced in response to an immunogen and derived from antibody-producing plasma cells that were once B-cell clones. Different antibodies have different mechanisms of action depending on their target.
