Thousands of Americans are diagnosed every year with Parkinson’s Disease, a movement disorder that affects the central nervous system, with tremor being a common symptom. The Food and Drug Administration recently approved a new drug for those living with advanced Parkinson’s. Movement disorders neurologist Dr. Leon Meytin with Hartford HealthCare’s Ayer Neuroscience Institute discussed the implications of this approval.
