MAXIOM Launches AI-Powered Health Coach Platform, Enters Clinical Trials to Validate Performance Against Human Experts

  • MAXIOM officially launched its AI platform that integrates DNA analysis, biomarkers, wearables, and artificial intelligence to deliver personalized health and performance guidance through conversational interactions.
  • The company secured $2M in seed funding led by Conscious Ventures and investment from genetics firm DNAthlete, while opening a $6M Series A round to scale the platform globally.
  • A randomized double-blind clinical trial launching in June will compare MAXIOM's AI coaching strategies against human coaching techniques to demonstrate the platform's effectiveness.
  • Three World Champions including Olympic champion Kristian Blummenfelt have adopted the platform, with some athletes replacing their human coaches entirely and relying on AI guidance for training optimization.
Maxiom Labs has officially launched MAXIOM, an artificial intelligence platform that combines genetic analysis, biomarkers, wearable device data, and machine learning to deliver personalized health and performance coaching through conversational interactions. The company announced it has secured $2M in seed funding led by Conscious Ventures and investment from Switzerland-based genetics firm DNAthlete, while opening a $6M Series A funding round.
The platform, developed using billions of data sets and reinforcement learning based on peer-reviewed scientific literature, aims to address what CEO Eric Harr describes as a "decades-old, multi-trillion-dollar problem" in health and fitness guidance. "Inside each of us is the blueprint for the best of us—but we're drowning in noise and bad advice," Harr stated. "We built MAXIOM to deliver truth, precision, and simplicity—to unlock human potential at scale."

AI Coach Integration and Functionality

MAXIOM's core feature, "Max," serves as a personal SmartCoach that analyzes multiple data streams including DNA, training metrics, sleep patterns, nutrition, and environmental factors like weather to provide daily optimization recommendations. The platform integrates with popular wearable devices including Garmin, Apple Watch, and Oura to consolidate data into unified, personalized guidance delivered through either text or audio conversations.
The system offers several key capabilities including precision recovery protocols using heart rate variability, training load, and sleep data to prevent burnout and injury. Users can access biometric integration that synchronizes DNA analysis, bloodwork, wearables data, and lifestyle factors into a comprehensive health profile.

Clinical Validation and Elite Athletic Adoption

MAXIOM is preparing to enter clinical trials in June to validate its effectiveness against human coaching methods. "MAXIOM's clinical trial, launching in June, will be a randomized double blind study to examine the effects of different coaching techniques that includes both human and Max's strategies," said Dr. Judith Lambton, Fulbright Scholar and Principal Investigator.
The platform has gained adoption among elite athletes, with three World Champions—Kristian Blummenfelt, Laura Philipp, and Gustav Iden—using the system for training optimization. Notably, Olympic and World Champion Kristian Blummenfelt and Gustav Iden have transitioned to self-coaching guided entirely by the AI platform, departing from their previous human coaching arrangements.
"Max is the future," said Blummenfelt. "He's getting close to outperforming the world's best coaching team – but unlike them, he's with you 24/7 and knows all your data. No bias. No wasted time. Just results. This isn't a small step forward. It's changing everything."

User Engagement and Clinical Applications

The platform has processed nearly one million user queries across diverse populations, from adolescent athletes to recreational fitness enthusiasts. The system has demonstrated applications in clinical settings, with users reporting the ability to provide comprehensive health snapshots to healthcare providers, condensing traditional 30-minute consultations into 30-second data presentations covering sleep, activity, nutrition, and stress metrics.
MAXIOM's development involved feedback from thousands of users and was built by a team combining expertise in artificial intelligence, human performance, sports science, and precision medicine. The company's mission targets inspiring and empowering one billion people through its precision health guidance platform.
The platform offers a seven-day free trial as it prepares to scale from thousands of current users to millions worldwide through its Series A funding round.
