REGENEX™ Renewal Serum Demonstrates Superior Anti-Aging Effects Compared to Retinol in Clinical Trials

  • REGENEX™ Renewal Serum, developed by Modern Molecules, has shown significantly better results than retinol in reducing wrinkles and pigmentation in clinical trials.
  • The serum's REGENEX™ complex, incorporating exosomes, spicules, and peptides, leverages technology initially used for burn wound regeneration to rejuvenate aged skin.
  • Clinical studies revealed that REGENEX™ outperformed retinol by 7.2 times in wrinkle reduction and 17 times in diminishing pigmentation after eight weeks.
  • The serum is set to launch in Singapore on October 28, 2024, and will be available through various online and retail channels.
Modern Molecules, in collaboration with dermatologists from Seoul, Korea, has announced the launch of REGENEX™ Renewal Serum, an anti-aging solution leveraging medical-grade technology initially designed for burn regeneration.

Superior Performance to Retinol

Clinical trials conducted by the Korean Skin Research Centre demonstrated that REGENEX™ Renewal Serum outperformed retinol by 7.2 times in wrinkle reduction and 17 times in diminishing pigmentation after just eight weeks of use. The serum integrates exosomes, spicules, and peptides, repurposing technologies used in burn treatment to combat signs of aging.

The REGENEX™ Complex

The REGENEX™ complex, discovered by the Modern Molecules research team led by Dr. Baek Ji Hwoon, combines three core technologies:
  • Exosomes: Nanoparticles that signal skin cells to regenerate and boost collagen production.
  • Spicules: Natural liquid microneedles that create microchannels for deeper penetration of exosomes.
  • Peptide Complex: Clinically proven peptides that smooth wrinkles and enhance skin elasticity.
Dr. Baek stated, "REGENEX™ Renewal Serum represents a significant advancement in anti-ageing and delivers performance that has shown statistically significant superior efficacy versus retinol... it can trigger skin cell regeneration from deep within, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and pigmentation while improving overall skin texture."

Clinical Trial Results

In a user trial involving 25 participants aged 30-52, key findings included:
  • 89% agreed that REGENEX™ was more effective than retinol
  • 97% observed firmer, plumper skin
  • 93% saw a more youthful complexion
  • 97% noted improvements in skin tone and texture
  • 80% witnessed a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles
  • 73% experienced reduced pigmentation and age spots.
