A recent clinical study conducted by Traya, an Indian health-tech brand, indicates that its customized hair regimen is significantly more effective than minoxidil in treating male pattern hair loss. The six-month study, involving 135 male participants aged 18 to 45, demonstrated that Traya's approach resulted in a threefold improvement in hair density compared to using minoxidil alone.
The study, executed in collaboration with MS Clinical Research Pvt Ltd, aimed to challenge the prevailing notion that single-product solutions can effectively reverse hair loss. Participants were divided into three groups: one receiving Traya’s customized regimen, another using 5% minoxidil topical solution, and a control group receiving a placebo.
Advanced Assessment Techniques
The research employed rigorous assessment methods, including Trichoscan Imaging, comb testing, dermatological evaluations, and self-assessments. Trichoscan Imaging, considered the gold standard for evaluating hair loss treatments, played a crucial role in determining efficacy. The results indicated that Traya’s customized regimen significantly outperformed minoxidil in reducing hair fall.
Addressing Root Causes
Traya’s customized regimen integrates Ayurveda, dermatology, and personalized diet plans to target the underlying causes of hair loss, such as indigestion, stress, and sleep deprivation. The study also assessed parameters like hair regrowth, hair density, smoothness, and shine, where Traya’s regimen showed superior outcomes compared to minoxidil alone.
