Dr. Manali Kamdar, who earned her medical degree from KJ Somaiya Medical College in Mumbai, India, has a rich academic and professional background. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine and a Hematology and Oncology Fellowship at East Carolina University, followed by a Fellowship in Blood and Marrow Transplantation at Stanford University. Currently, she serves as the Clinical Director of Lymphoma Services at the University of Colorado Cancer Center in Aurora, CO.
Dr. Kamdar's work is primarily focused on the treatment of lymphoma patients, with a particular emphasis on novel therapies. She is actively involved in clinical trials that assess the safety and efficacy of new treatments for relapsed/refractory lymphomas. Notable among these are the TRANSFORM (NCT03575351) and TRANSCEND-NHL-001 (NCT02631044) trials, which investigate the use of lisocabtagene maraleucel (liso-cel) in patients with these conditions.
