Think Surgical Inc. has obtained FDA 510(k) clearance for its TMINI miniature robotic system to be used in conjunction with Medacta's GMK Sphere and SpheriKA knee systems. This clearance expands the options available for robotic-assisted total knee arthroplasty (TKA).
The collaboration between Think Surgical and Medacta, initially announced on August 29, integrates Think Surgical's robotic surgery platform with Medacta's knee implant systems. The goal is to provide surgeons and patients with more personalized solutions for total knee replacement.
