Speaking at a press conference in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Minister Jadhav confirmed that research is in its final stages, with clinical trials currently underway.
"A vaccine to fight cancers affecting women will be available in five to six months, and those in the age group of nine to 16 years will be eligible for inoculation," stated Minister Jadhav, highlighting the targeted approach of this preventive measure.

The vaccine introduction is part of a broader government initiative to address the rising cancer burden in India. The ministry has implemented several key measures:
