The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has accepted Britecyte (search)'s Investigational New Drug (IND) application, which is now in effect under IND 31174. The company will investigate BRC-OA (search)'s safety and efficacy in a First-in-Human Phase 1/2a clinical study specifically targeting knee osteoarthritis (search). The multicenter, controlled, randomized, single-blind, dose-finding study is registered under ClinicalTrials.gov ID NCT06828666.

Strategic Maryland Collaboration
The three Maryland-based organizations bring complementary expertise to the clinical development program. ROSM will function as one of the clinical sites for the trial.
