"Most significantly, when we look at the actual makeup of the immune cells after CAR-T (search) therapy, we see B cells (search) coming back after chemotherapy as 'naïve' – they no longer attack healthy tissue anymore," explains Dr. Amit Saxena, associate professor of medicine at NYU Grossman School of Medicine (search) and director of the Lupus (search) Clinical Research Program at NYU Langone Health.
