Leadership Appointment and Strategic Vision
To advance the clinical program, Cellular Intelligence (search) has appointed neurologist Nuno Mendonça, MD, as chief medical officer. Mendonça brings extensive experience from senior roles at Bial, AbbVie, and Novartis Gene Therapies, where he oversaw neuroscience and rare disease programs across North America and Europe.

Novo Nordisk sought a partner capable of advancing the program's scientific and manufacturing complexity.
