Commercial-Scale Validation Demonstrates Superior Performance
The optimization run followed an earlier pilot programme and was designed to confirm performance under real-world industrial conditions. During the campaign, the ClarosTechUV system treated more than 170,000 gallons (approximately 640,000 liters) of industrial process water containing multiple PFAS (search) compounds.
Results demonstrated greater than 99.99% destruction of all targeted PFAS (search) species, including long-chain, short-chain and ultra-short-chain variants such as trifluoroacetic acid (search) (TFA). The system maintained this exceptional destruction efficiency at high flow rates reaching hundreds of gallons per minute, while demonstrating stable operation and strong energy efficiency.
