Dr. Skovronsky, who currently serves as Chief Scientific and Product Officer of Eli Lilly and Company and President of Lilly Research Laboratories, brings decades of leadership in drug discovery, clinical development, and translational medicine to the genomics and multiomics technology company.

A Career Spanning Academia and Industry
Dr. Skovronsky's career trajectory reflects deep integration of academic medicine and pharmaceutical entrepreneurship. He received a Bachelor of Science in molecular biophysics and biochemistry from Yale University and earned both his MD and PhD from the University of Pennsylvania. He completed residency training in pathology and fellowship training in neuropathology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
In 2004, Skovronsky founded Avid Radiopharmaceuticals (搜索), where he served as Chief Executive Officer until its acquisition by Eli Lilly in 2010. Following the acquisition, he joined Lilly and has since held roles of increasing responsibility across the organization. In his current position, he leads Lilly's global research and development organization and oversees commercial products across Lilly Cardiometabolic Health, Lilly Immunology, and Lilly Neuroscience.
