DELFI Diagnostics Presents Five Studies on AI-Driven cfDNA Platform for Cancer Detection and Monitoring at AACR 2026
核心洞察
DELFI Diagnostics (搜索) will present five poster presentations at AACR 2026 showcasing advances in their whole-genome cell-free DNA (搜索) platform for cancer detection and monitoring.
The presentations span lung cancer early detection, immunotherapy response prediction, cancer subtyping, treatment monitoring, and next-generation sequencing platforms.
New data extends DELFI's FirstLook Lung (搜索) capabilities into lung cancer subtyping and immunotherapy response prediction using fragmentation patterns and protein biomarkers.
DELFI Diagnostics (搜索) will showcase the expanding capabilities of its AI-driven cell-free DNA (搜索) platform at the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) 2026 Annual Meeting, presenting five poster presentations that demonstrate advances across the cancer care continuum from early detection to treatment monitoring.
The presentations, scheduled for April 17-22, 2026 in San Diego, highlight the breadth of DELFI's fragmentomics technology, which uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to analyze genome-wide patterns of cell-free DNA (搜索) fragmentation in blood samples.
Platform Advances Across Cancer Types
"This year's AACR presentations reflect the breadth and maturity of our AI-driven, computational platform," said Susan Tousi, CEO of DELFI Diagnostics (搜索). "From early detection to treatment monitoring, we're generating clinical evidence across the cancer continuum that reinforces the power of genome-wide cfDNA (搜索) analysis combined with AI."
The five abstracts represent collaborative work with academic partners at Johns Hopkins University (搜索) and the Netherlands Cancer Institute (搜索), spanning multiple cancer types and clinical applications.
Lung Cancer Detection and Monitoring
Three presentations focus on lung cancer applications, building on DELFI's clinically validated FirstLook Lung (搜索) test. The company's blood-based screening test for lung cancer achieves a negative predictive value of 99.8 percent and serves as the first commercially available blood-based screening test for lung cancer in the United States.
New data being presented extends the platform's capabilities beyond initial detection into lung cancer subtyping and immunotherapy response prediction. These studies demonstrate how fragmentation patterns combined with protein biomarkers can provide clinical insights that guide treatment decisions.
Dr. Valsamo Anagnostou from Johns Hopkins University (搜索) will present research on how cell-free DNA (搜索) fragmentome profiles can predict immunotherapy response, while DELFI's Laurel Millberg will discuss lung cancer subtyping using cell-free DNA fragmentomes and protein biomarkers.
Treatment Monitoring Applications
The company's DELFI-TF (搜索) (tumor fraction) monitoring solution continues to generate clinical validation data across cancer types. This research-use platform provides a non-invasive, tissue-free, and tumor-agnostic quantitative estimate of tumor burden through blood draws.
The DOLPHIN study, a multicenter, prospective, observational study from the Netherlands Cancer Institute (搜索), examines cfDNA (搜索)-based treatment response monitoring in approximately 500 colorectal cancer patients treated with systemic chemotherapy. Denise van Steijn from the Netherlands Cancer Institute will present these findings.
Technology Platform Development
Additional research demonstrates the adaptability of DELFI's core genomics technology across different sequencing platforms. New DELFI-TF (搜索) data generated on the Ultima Genomics (搜索) platform identify promising avenues for performance enhancement in future product generations.
"We are excited to present our latest work in early detection, treatment monitoring, subtyping, and technology innovation," said Amoolya Singh, PhD, Chief Technology Officer. "We continue to believe that the sensitivity, low cost, and versatility of our technical approach position us well for continued scientific discovery and product development."
Clinical Applications and Regulatory Status
DELFI's FirstLook Lung (搜索) test integrates with routine blood work and guides patients toward follow-up with guideline-recommended low-dose CT screening. The company has developed novel health system partnerships with electronic medical record integration to make blood-based testing available to historically underserved populations.
The DELFI-TF (搜索) platform overcomes barriers of currently available monitoring products including cost, turnaround time, sensitivity, and the need for tissue biopsy, while maintaining market-level performance. The system provides therapeutic monitoring insights across all solid cancer and treatment types by establishing molecular profiles, tracking therapeutic effectiveness, and identifying emerging resistance patterns.
Both FirstLook Lung (搜索) and DELFI-TF (搜索) have not been cleared or approved by the FDA, with DELFI-TF intended for research use only.
The presentations will take place across multiple sessions during the AACR meeting, with DELFI Diagnostics (搜索) available for meetings at Booth #1711.
