Dosing and Administration Guidelines
The prescribing information recommends instilling one drop twice daily in each eye, approximately 12 hours apart. Patients wearing contact lenses must remove them prior to administration and wait 15 minutes before reinsertion. The therapy is contraindicated in patients with known or suspected hypersensitivity to any formulation ingredients.

Clinical trial data supporting the original brand-name approval revealed ocular burning as the most common adverse reaction, occurring in 17% of patients.
