The meta-analysis encompassed 91 placebo-controlled clinical trials involving 107,910 patients, including 60,338 who received GLP-1 medications and 47,572 who received placebo. "Whatever the cause, depression or suicidality are rare but extremely severe events and need to be prevented and managed as much as possible," they stated.
