The company's Chief Operating Officer, Don Van Dyke, provided more specific metrics: "It is estimated that the traditional discovery process to arrive at a clinical candidate molecule takes greater than five years. Cloud has consistently been able to reduce that to a matter of a few months."

This collaboration represents Cloud Pharmaceuticals (搜索)' first partnership with a major pharmaceutical company. For GSK, however, it builds upon their existing commitment to AI-driven drug discovery, following their $33 million agreement with Scotland's ExScientia last year.
