The Chinese pharmaceutical company's comprehensive portfolio included four late-breaking abstracts (LBAs), nine oral presentations, two mini oral sessions, 32 posters, and three e-posters, spanning more than 10 cancer types.
The ESMO Annual Congress, held from October 17-21, 2025, attracts more than ten thousand experts and hundreds of leading international pharmaceutical companies annually, serving as a premier platform for showcasing the latest advances in cancer research and therapeutics.
Global Launch of CARES-009 Study Data
During the congress, Hengrui co-hosted the roundtable "China Innovation Going Global," featuring the global launch of the CARES-009 study. Academician Jia Fan of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Professor Jian Zhou of Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University, jointly presented the latest global data from the study, which features Hengrui's innovative therapeutic combination of camrelizumab and rivoceranib.

Breakthrough Data Across Multiple Cancer Types
Breast Cancer Portfolio
Hengrui presented 11 research studies in breast cancer, comprising one oral presentation, one mini oral, eight posters, and one e-poster. A notable highlight was a late-breaking abstract featuring the company's antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) trastuzumab rezetecan (SHR-A1811) compared with pyrotinib plus capecitabine for patients with HER2 (搜索)-positive advanced or metastatic breast cancer. Additional studies showcased established and emerging therapies including pyrotinib, dalpiciclib, and adebrelimab.
Gastrointestinal Cancer Research
The company had 14 studies accepted in gastrointestinal cancers, including two oral presentations, 11 posters, and one e-poster. Alongside flagship therapies camrelizumab and rivoceranib, four studies featured adebrelimab in the gastrointestinal field. Investigational agents presented included HRS-4642, a KRAS G12D (搜索) inhibitor, and SHR-1701, a PD-L1 (搜索)/TGF-β (搜索) bifunctional antibody.
Lung Cancer and Additional Therapeutic Areas
Six poster presentations in lung cancer featured camrelizumab and adebrelimab, covering both non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and small cell lung cancer (SCLC). Across additional disease areas including gynecologic tumors, thymic epithelial tumors, head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, sarcoma, prostate cancer, and thyroid cancer, Hengrui had 13 studies accepted, featuring therapies such as camrelizumab, fuzuloparib, rivoceranib, rezvilutamide, adebrelimab, famitinib, HRS-7058, and HRS-4642.
Decade of ESMO Participation
Since 2016, Hengrui Oncology has participated in the ESMO Annual Congress for 10 consecutive years. Between 2023 and 2025, the company presented a total of 119 research achievements: 36 studies in 2023, 37 studies in 2024, and 46 studies in 2025. The 2025 congress marked the first time Hengrui established an exhibition booth, representing a significant step forward in the company's internationalization strategy.
