Lotte Biologics (搜索) has expanded its manufacturing partnership with UK biotech firm Ottimo Pharma (搜索), signing a new contract manufacturing agreement for the production of biparatopic antibody drugs. The expanded collaboration builds on an initial antibody development agreement signed in June last year and reflects Ottimo Pharma's continued confidence in Lotte Biologics' manufacturing and development capabilities.
Under the new agreement, Lotte Biologics (搜索) will produce the active pharmaceutical ingredient for Jankistomig, Ottimo Pharma (搜索)'s biparatopic antibody candidate, at its Syracuse Bio Campus in New York. The drug candidate represents an innovative approach as a PD-1 (搜索)/VEGFR2 (搜索) dual-paratopic antibody, also referred to as OTP-01 (搜索) in development.
Strategic Partnership Evolution
The partnership is expanding beyond traditional manufacturing into broader development and commercialization cooperation, strengthening long-term ties between the two companies. Lotte's development team at the Syracuse Bio Campus will support commercial process development and characterization activities, bringing the companies together to advance OTP-01 (搜索) toward launch readiness.
