Strategic Partnership Details
Under the exclusive License, Supply and Distribution agreement, Lupin will have sole rights to market Bofanglutide in India, a drug intended for treating adults with type 2 diabetes (搜索) and aiding weight management in overweight or obese individuals. The partnership represents Lupin's strategic focus on the GLP-1 class of drugs and commitment to addressing chronic metabolic diseases.

Clinical data demonstrate that Bofanglutide's weight loss results are comparable to or better than those of existing GLP-1 alternatives while maintaining safety and tolerability consistent with the GLP-1 class. The drug effectively reduces both blood glucose levels and body weight, delivering outcomes that match or surpass existing weekly formulations.
