Pfizer's Abrysvo, a respiratory syncytial virus (RSV (search)) vaccine, received FDA approval for expanded use in adults aged 18-59 who are at increased risk of RSV-associated lower respiratory tract disease (LRTD). This approval, based on Phase III MONeT study data, makes Abrysvo the only RSV vaccine available for this younger adult population, particularly those with underlying conditions like asthma, diabetes, or COPD.
