The collaboration includes Regeneron's investment of up to $200 million in TriNetX and provides exclusive opportunities to integrate genomic and proteomic data with real-world health information.
Expanding Genomic Database Capabilities
Under the collaboration, TriNetX (搜索) will provide Regeneron with secure, licensed access to de-identified health data from approximately 300 million individuals, including 170 million in the United States. The data is sourced directly from TriNetX's global network of over 11,000 healthcare provider locations. Using privacy-preserving methods, Regeneron will have the capability to match portions of TriNetX's anonymized data to genomic and proteomic data generated by the Regeneron Genetics Center (搜索) (RGC).

Leveraging AI for Drug Discovery
The RGC has developed high-throughput and cost-efficient DNA sequencing and proteomics approaches to build what the company describes as the world's largest database of EHR-linked sequencing and proteomics data. The center currently maintains a database of more than 3 million sequenced exomes with de-identified health information, developed through collaborations with over 150 life sciences and healthcare partners worldwide.
The collaboration with TriNetX (搜索) will enable expansion of this dataset to drive drug discovery and development while empowering artificial intelligence training algorithms to deliver digital health solutions. The RGC uses innovative technologies, including machine learning, to sequence exomes, align with health information and perform large-scale analyses to identify meaningful associations between genes and diseases.
