Total company revenue for the second quarter of 2026 is expected to reach approximately $32 to $34 million. This figure includes $5 to $7 million in revenue recognized from the RxSight–Alcon Strategic Collaboration, with the specific amount to be confirmed when the company reports its finalized financial results in August 2026. Standalone product sales accounted for approximately $27 million, driven by the sale of 24,917 Light Adjustable Lens (LAL) (search) units and 11 Light Delivery Devices (LDD), along with one rental unit placed during the quarter. As of June 30, 2026, the company held approximately $209 million in cash, cash equivalents, and short-term investments.
Commercial Headwinds and Strategic Response

Next-Generation Light Adjustable Technology Platform
RxSight detailed its updated product pipeline, built on a next-generation Light Adjustable Technology platform designed to offer improved workflow and enhanced performance with fewer required post-operative treatments. The company is developing what it describes as the first and only suite of adjustable IOLs on this new platform, comprising three distinct lenses:
The next-generation LAL is designed to deliver best-in-class visual quality and optical clarity, with post-operative refractive optimization to consistently achieve targeted visual outcomes. The next-generation LAL+ aims to improve intermediate vision for everyday activities while preserving high-quality optical performance, with adjustability enabling precise refractive targeting. The LAL Toric incorporates built-in astigmatism (search) correction while still enabling post-operative refinement of residual sphere and cylinder to maximize uncorrected visual acuity.
Alcon Strategic Collaboration
The collaboration with Alcon focuses on innovating both companies' respective platforms to develop and commercialize light-adjustable Presbyopia (search)-Correcting Intraocular Lenses, described as Simultaneous Vision Intraocular Lenses. This partnership represents a significant expansion of RxSight's addressable market, moving beyond monofocal IOLs into the presbyopia-correcting segment.
Updated 2026 Financial Guidance
RxSight revised its full-year 2026 financial guidance, projecting total revenue of $140 to $160 million, inclusive of both RxSight product sales and revenue recognized from the Alcon collaboration. Product sales are now expected to be $110 to $120 million, down from the previous guidance of $120 to $135 million. Collaboration agreement revenue is projected at $30 to $40 million, subject to the terms and conditions described in the Current Report on Form 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Gross margin guidance was raised to 73% to 75%, up from the previous range of 70% to 72%, while operating expenses are expected to be at the high end of $150 to $160 million, in line with prior guidance.
The company noted that these financial and operational results are preliminary estimates, and actual reported results could differ based on the completion of quarter-end closing procedures, final adjustments, and review by its independent registered public accounting firm.
