Desktop Metal (搜索) filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in July, with foreign subsidiaries of EnvisionTEC (搜索), ExOne, and AIDRO s.r.l. set to be sold. EnvisionTEC, which Desktop Metal acquired in 2021, had operated its dental business under the Desktop Health (搜索) umbrella within the broader organization. While Anzu Partners (搜索) has made moves for the EnvisionTEC and ExOne subsidiaries, the ETEC (搜索) dental portfolio was not part of that transaction.

The acquired EnvisionTEC (搜索) dental portfolio includes the patented cDLM (continuous digital light manufacturing) technology featured in the Envision One and Einstein DLP printer lines. The portfolio also encompasses materials such as the hybrid nanoceramic Flexcera (搜索) resin for 3D printed dental prosthetics, which holds FDA 510(k) Class II clearance, CE Mark certification, and MDR Class I certification.
