Syndax Pharmaceuticals has announced a robust scientific presence at two major oncology conferences in 2026, with multiple presentations showcasing the expanding clinical evidence for Revuforj (revumenib), the FDA-approved menin (search) inhibitor for treating relapsed or refractory acute leukemia.
ASCO 2026 Presentations Focus on Post-Transplant Outcomes
The company will present four abstracts at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting, taking place May 29 - June 2, 2026, in Chicago. The highlight will be an oral presentation featuring safety and efficacy data from 21 adults and children with KMT2A (search)-rearranged (KMT2Ar), NPM1 (search)-mutated (NPM1m), or NUP98 (search)-rearranged (NUP98r) acute leukemia who received revumenib as maintenance therapy following hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT).

The presentation will include observed overall survival and relapse rates, along with comparisons to historical cohorts of patients with the same genetic subtypes treated before revumenib became available.
Pharmacokinetic Profile Demonstrates Clinical Advantages
A poster presentation at ASCO will characterize revumenib's pharmacokinetic profile, emphasizing differentiating aspects including the ability to administer the drug with gastric acid reducing agents without reducing efficacy, ensure optimal exposure with strong CYP3A4 inhibitors through clear dose adjustment strategies, and administer with low-fat meals.

Comprehensive EHA 2026 Data Package
At the European Hematology Association (EHA) 2026 Congress in Stockholm, Sweden (June 11-14, 2026), Syndax will present 12 abstracts demonstrating revumenib's activity across the acute leukemia treatment continuum.
Key presentations will include findings from the ROAR study, a multicenter real-world study of revumenib in relapsed/refractory acute leukemia, and updated frontline data from the Phase 1 trial combining revumenib with intensive chemotherapy in NPM1m, KMT2Ar, or NUP98r acute myeloid leukemia.
The data package also features outcomes from patients who received revumenib as post-transplant maintenance, updated results from the SAVE trial combining revumenib with venetoclax and decitabine/cedazuridine, and results in patients with relapsed/refractory NUP98r acute leukemia.
Clinical Impact Across Multiple Settings
"The breadth of data accepted for presentation at EHA underscores the strength of revumenib's clinical profile, with activity observed across the acute leukemia treatment continuum in KMT2Ar, NPM1m, and NUP98r acute leukemias," Dr. Botwood stated.
The presentations will showcase high rates of minimal residual disease (MRD) negativity, transplant rates, and favorable tolerability profiles supporting ongoing pivotal trials. Dr. Botwood emphasized that the collective data "highlight our scientific leadership in menin (search) inhibition and bolster our confidence that we are positioned to transform the treatment paradigm for 50% or more of patients with AML."
Safety Profile and Regulatory Status
Revuforj carries boxed warnings for differentiation syndrome, QTc prolongation, and Torsades de Pointes. In clinical trials, differentiation syndrome occurred in 25% of 241 patients treated at the recommended dosage, with the condition being Grade 3 or 4 in 12% of patients and fatal in 2 patients. QTc interval prolongation was reported in 36% of patients, with Grade 3 occurrence in 15% and Grade 4 in 2%.
The drug is FDA-approved for treating relapsed or refractory acute leukemia with KMT2A (search) translocation and for relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia with susceptible NPM1 (search) mutations in adult and pediatric patients one year and older. Multiple trials are ongoing across the treatment landscape, including combinations with standard of care therapies in newly diagnosed patients.
