The Brazilian Patent Office (search) has formally granted TempraMed's patent application No. BR 112021006921-6, covering key aspects of the company's VIVI Box multi-medication storage platform. The patent, which extends through October 23, 2039, protects core innovations including continuous temperature protection during power interruptions, portable all-day travel functionality, and smart content tracking with cloud-based data integration.
The VIVI Box represents TempraMed's expansion beyond single-injection protection into scalable, multi-format medication management solutions. The device is planned for market launch at the end of 2026, adding to the company's existing portfolio of four products currently being sold.

The VIVI Cap Smart builds on the original VIVI Cap by adding an integrated digital layer that enables automatic injection timing tracking and maintains accurate insulin usage logs through a connected mobile application.
